Happybeams Interiors is a Residential Interior Design Studio based in Hersham, covering projects around Surrey and further afield.

Founded in 2017 by Jess Blake, Happybeams was born from a love of interiors combined with a degree in psychology — bringing a thoughtful, human-centred approach to design. Our mission is to empower busy homeowners to redesign their spaces with confidence and clarity, ensuring each area serves its intended purpose while exuding comfort and style.
We're looking for a creative and passionate individual to join our team as a part-time Content & Design Assistant, blending social media and content creation skills with a flair for interior design. This varied role offers the chance to develop your skillset across both digital and design projects.
Location: Flexible (Home-based with on-location work and at Hersham office)
Job Type: Part-time (minimum of 12 hours a week) with potential for growth
Start Date: April/May 2025
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Social Media Responsibilities:

Manage and curate content across Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok and YouTube, covering design project updates and reveals, and behind the scenes footage.

Develop content strategies, create engaging posts, and manage posting schedules.

Monitor social media engagement, grow online community, raise brand awareness and interact with followers.

Produce high-quality photography and video content, including editing, to showcase design projects and lifestyle content.
Interior Design Responsibilities:

Support the development of design concepts and documentation.

Assist the team on-site and remotely with design projects.

Potential training available for technical software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar).
About You
Skills & Experience Required:

Proven experience in content creation and social media management.

Strong photography and video editing skills (Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or similar).

Passion for interior design with a creative eye and attention to detail.

Basic understanding of design drawings and floorplans is beneficial (training will be provided).

Competent in Microsoft programmes and Canva.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Self-motivated, organised, and able to manage time effectively.

Strong visual eye for aesthetics and design.

Adaptable, proactive, and eager to learn new skills.

Friendly and collaborative nature.
